#MondayMusings – The Female Temptress in The Bible

Monday Musings

I am working on the Nine Character Types of famous characters in the Bible.  I’ve just finished Samson and Deliah. It’s interesting to me that the women who tempt the men in The Bible are portrayed as always at fault.

The men who succumb and sin fall because of the women. There is not much of taking responsibility for their actions, which are usually caused by their own overwhelming lust, greed, or desire to possess.

The idea that women are to blame for a man’s lust is the foundation of male entitlement being combatted or called out by #MeToo and #TimesUp. This blame starts in The Bible.
